Spel-Ett is a game designed for students and children in pre-school (Sweden: förskoleklass) as well as for others looking to practice basic reading skills. Reading is practiced in a playful and enjoyable manner through tasks that reinforce the connection between letters and sounds. Gradually, the player will also have the opportunity to read short words. The diverse game fields take the player on exciting journeys to the depths of the sea, on a hot air balloon ride, diamond hunting, or perhaps visiting the frogs. Completing game levels rewards the player with coins, which can be used to equip their own game character or to purchase cards that facilitate gameplay.
